It is open source so someone new have taken the original and developed it further. The latest version comes as a VST which is very cool! For anyoe that have not heard about Paulstretch before be ready for some happy times as it is nice to see how the program stretches and moulds audio into infinity. Why decide to write about it is because it is open source and hoping that somebody would port it for Android! C'mon developer reading this you have nothing better to do now anyway... I am sure that Xenakios that have been working on this version would be helping out as he seems to be a nice guy. To read more about this version and download the standalone or VST version go here: xenakios.wordpress.com/ Hope that you can find it in your heart but even more importantly in your wallet some loose change to throw this way through the PayPal account on the side...
Using a pro account to be able to have things for download and better search functions plus some other stuff, that needs to be paid for and as the income from this site is minimum (Think last year around 80 euros..) it would be excellent with some help! Plus if for some reason there would be any money over I can buy more cat masks for group photos! The text in the picture was added with Pentacam. Did not take full advantage of it but it is a fun little app for anyone that wants to make Heavy Metal record covers in a hurry. Comes with some suitable filters and different Metal fonts plus some other goodies. Google Play: https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=pics.pentacam.pentacam There has been a Caustic Family Youtube channe with music and tutorials etc for a longer time now and am happy that there is momentum behind it to bring new Caustic material to the front consistently. Here is a presentation of some music that is deemed to be in the top ten as of January 2018. If making music with Caustic and want to share it with more people and specifically other Causticians or want to learn some trick and such do not hesitate and go now to their Youtube channel! There is a lot of chord apps for guitar on the Play store but this one is definitively my favorite. It is straight to the point with a clear interface. Choose root and chordtype to the left and press a picture showing how the fingering to hear the chord being played and having the chords shown on a graphic fretboard in the bottom. Do not hurt that it is for free and no pesky ads! If you are a guitar player think that this will be enjoyed and of great help. Google Play: play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.actual.mobidic MobiDic Guitar Chords is an illustrated chord dictionary for acoustic and electric guitar containing about 5000 chords with realistic sound. All examples are shown along with a picture, which provides the best view for left hand positioning. Its interface allows quick access to the desired chord through lists with tonic and chord types, and even a search engine. This app, developed by brazilians, was tested and approved by great musicians like Yamandu Costa, Nelson Faria, Daniel Sá, Gustavo Assis-Brasil, among others! A nice little ad free freebie.
Does not do much and a lot of people will dismiss it for the reason that it is not easy to not what notes are being played if any. Manipulatign the sound with fingers on the screen and with a little bit of play interesting textures and notes will find their way out. An app to sit and record to later cut up for samples. There is plans to add more control over this app later so even if it is not being used it can be a good thing to install to be aware of updates in times to come. Who knows could turn into something unique as it is off to a good start. Google Play: play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=ca.dumbcomics.experimentalfmsynthesizer Create complexly bizarre sound effects and intellectual experimental music. Move some of your fingers around the screen, and listen to the sound transform. Learn about FM synthesis. Annoy your teacher. Annoy your friends. Annoy your mom. Annoy your neighbour's dog. Annoy your own dog. Annoy your grandma (if she isn't dead yet). Annoy yourself. Annoy other annoying people. FUTURE RELEASES - Pretty display interface - Configure modulator connections - Additional controls - Customizable preferences It promises easy fuzzy free plug n play midi controlling which seems to be missing from similar offerings as they normally involve setting up stuff and in many cases induces hairloss and years of aging in an hours time... There is tutorials to see on their Youtube channel... With the Beta they have stepped up their game to Android Nougat and am consideering to install it again... There is a free and paid version of Bluestacks and the free version do not limit the functionality of the apps... If it works good it is a nice back up to have if a device gets lost or broken.
