Obviously based on the TB 303. For free and with a limited sequencer that seems to be planned to be expanded in a future paid version.
Google Play: play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.rockrelay.synth.bassline Square and Saw oscillator Step sequencer Midi support Downloading the update now and a whole lot of other apps backlogged. This was announced a month ago or so but was not yet on the Android version. While waiting for the update have looked at the video and it is for sure something that brings a higher quality reverb to Android (Grainstorm does have convolution reverb as well) but this also brings the possibilities of sound design that is hard to do otherwise. Will soon have to do some serious recording with n-Track as it has for sure expanded since trying it last time about a year ago. Google Play: play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.ntrack.studio.eight.pro&gl=ES WHAT'S NEW Version 9.0.3 adds new features including: • instrument tracks have now the instrument synth built into the track, they no longer require a separate instrument channel. You can add effects directly to the Instrument track just like it was an audio track. • introducing the new Convolverb convolution reverb: add beautiful sounding reverbs recorded from real world environments. play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.rfo.harpejji&referrer=utm_source%3DBlog%26utm_medium%3DApp%26utm_campaign%3Dsale A harpejji is a neat stringed instrument that has frets like a guitar but is finger tapped. The strings are tuned in whole steps so it is possible to quickly transpose a melody to a new key by maintaining its "shape". C notes are designated with a dot. This app isn't meant to substitute the far superior real harpejjis but to give users a chance to learn and experiment with their unique chromatic layout. Choose landscape (better) or portrait mode and number of frets (I prefer 6-8). You can learn more about real harpejjis at https://www.marcodi.com Some tips on how to play: https://www.marcodi.com/pages/learn-to-play There is some apps that are very interesting and good but that never seems to get the attention that they deserve... This one with less than a hundred installs are one of those. The concept is good and well executed and the sound is mighty fine. The basic idea is that to manipulate and modulate the parameters selected by tilting the device in different ways. Plus it comes with a sequencer. Another mobile app that if coming out as hardware would have been mentioned and written about in many a big music sites/magazines. So just forget all the unnecessary clutter of your device as the phone part and Facefuck and just have Fang synth installed and there you go, a new exciting hardware synthesizer that can do something no hardware synthesizer can do! The look may seem crude but personally it entices my sensibilities to inspiration as do his other excellent and most brutal drum machine on Android, Dragon. The new video does not do it full justice sound wise and does not show you that there is a whole lot of deepness to swim in, that can be slightly overwhelming before coming to grips with it. Not too much though but enough to keep you occupied in sound sculpting and ideas for a loooong time. Google Play: play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.thiiird.fang The update: Sequence can be changed from any page Each step of a sequence can be triggered after the piano roll to allow for chord pads Notes to the arpeggiator will wait for the next step instead of beginning timing at the first note on. Old behavior can be restored with the control named Independent time Probability functions for pitch New oscillator wave types New presets viros, DSLIME, Carnival, sn, further down, wobble, and Hethodic So there is a vote pack to download. Tried to finish a song but only got 80% of the way as I did keep shooting up on finish until last day... So sad face. But this year there seemed to have been a lot of contestants and there is Youtube video as well to hear all the contributions. Over three hours!!! April 24 is the last voting day. To get the vote pack in a fancy wrapper go here: www.warmplace.ru SO it has been out for awhile and I like it. Maybe not too much to get if you already have G-Stomper Studio and are happy with that work flow. But if you have neither would say that both are great! There are many things that are unique. One thing that is interesting is the very versatile synthesizer and that it is possible to use the sampler built into the it (and instruments) in combination with the synthesizer engine and the other oscillator etc. Well in the end a sandbox of endless possibilities. Waiting for some Specdrums to review. Meanwhile I will look at theses here vids. Interested as fingerstyle guitar is what I am practicing and playing. It does not seem to be out yet tough. But there is a lot of other string based apps that the developer have released over the years so it should be at the Playstore anytime soon I guess? Seems interesting. Comments are good and anyone interested in art and/or politics will probably find it interesting...Am installing it now. Google Play: play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=art.vrtventures.shepardfaireypremium&referrer=utm_source%3DBlog%26utm_medium%3DApp%26utm_campaign%3Dsale It’s been nearly 10 years since Shepard Fairey’s last solo exhibition in his hometown of Los Angeles and the iconic HOPE imagery he created for then Presidential candidate Barack Obama. Now for the very first time Shepard Fairey's work has been transformed into a virtual reality experience. experience his most ambitious show to date, aptly titled DAMAGED. In this unprecedented political climate, Fairey’s message has changed from hope to purpose: “DAMAGED is an honest diagnosis, but diagnosis is the first step to recognising and solving problems. "I definitely think that art can be part of the solution because it can inspire people to look at an issue they might otherwise ignore or reject.” DAMAGED also takes aim at another hindrance to reformative communication: social media. For what should be the most meaningful platform for important discussion ever created, discourse has fallen secondary to self-indulgence and celebrity: “Even prior to the election, I’ve been troubled by the social media mentality of ‘construct your own reality’ in superficial terms, at least. The internet and social media are valuable for democratization, but as Marshall McLuhan warned with his—”the medium is the message”—the rapid pace and temporary nature of social media can lead to throwaway approaches from the consumer and the creator…” * Listen to over 100 minutes of exclusive narration by Shepard Fairey. * Interact with hundreds of artworks, including world premier exclusives. * A full three dimensional photo realistic representation of his Damaged show. Join Shepard Fairey in this state of the art virtual reality experience, where he will share his thoughts and methods behind his artwork. The optional Augmented Reality feature of the app involves image analysis, which requires a clear image. The AR quality is reduced when the camera can’t see details, such as when the camera is pointed at a blank wall, or when the room is too dark. Excessive motion reduces tracking quality as well. Use the AR feature in a well lit room and move your device gently to improve tracking quality. |
