So hoping that there is some more developers jumping on this!
Yapps it would be nicety nice if we could connect music apps for endless fun. From the developer: We're glad to announce that the Audioroute project is now open source. The full sources for the Audioroute core library and sample host are now available on the Audioroute Github page. You can now decide if you want to link to the Maven version of the SDK or build it from sources. Do you have any idea or suggestion on where Audioroute should go? Drop us an email! To get started with Audioroute check out the developer guide. Let's get our apps connected! Happy coding, Flavio Such great news. Must say that the most glaring omission from SunVox compared to the other full featured apps on Android have been Midi. With modular possibilities of SunVox it is possible to build endless sound monsters and it is now becoming a real something for anyone that is looking for a great synthesizer to connect to a midi keyboard and not bother about anything else in SunVox. Okay but that Vistual ANS is becoming midi controllable excites me even more! As it is hard to get to those textures in other ways and now they are playable! And Virtual ANS 3 coming... Mmmm Fantasizing right now. Lat update brought so much goodness that if this update is just a third of that (or just midi is enough to bring some droplets of jizz) it is huge (for me). He says working on it right now and Virtual ANS being first in line and not have been updated for some time now it is hopefully coming soooooon! Excitement central. Mmmm duct tape... \Remember living with a friend back in the day building loft space without money. Duct tape got used a lot and after that always have a spot in mha heart for the stuff. Have seen at least one book how to make furniture with it and there is a lot to be found in general on the net of course... Well here they went and made drum skins of duct tape... The results are... not good but my fascination could not stop me from posting it anyway! Plus that the website with the samples contains other sample packs for free and other interesting things like circuit bending. superpowered.com/oboe-android-audio-latency Okay maybe it is not so new as it has been as a Beta for a long time now but it is still a great new thing! Not anything like it for Android and make it even easier to keep everything contained for all aspects of music making inside your device if wished. Can see this not only for mastering full tracks but to polish loops and samples as well. Well thought out and the app uses modules that can be used in any order or in whatever combinations desired. Also happy to see that it is released as it means that the developer have not abandoned developing for Android as he have been out of the game for a while now... This is good news for Caustic!
