You may have a seen a teaser post on Friday when I promised to reveal something this week.
Well Audio Evolution Mobile is going to become the first real DAW with all the major functions of a computer DAW!
It is still in Beta and do not know when it will be ready but it is exciting news.
What this means is that you are going to have a midi sequencer built in that can not only receive midi but also send midi to outboard gear!
Not only note on / off but also the possibility to automate Velocity / Control change / Program change / channel pressure / pitch bend in other words anything that you more or less could control in your Midi Hardware!
Okay this is great if you have hardware that you want to use sequenced.
But there is also a Synthesizer coming.
So would say that Audio Evolution Mobile is the first complete DAW that will be available for Android. Because if you have USB Audio Recorder PRO and a USB Sound Card you can get quality recording without latency plus the synthesizer with midi sequencer means that you can create full tracks with recordings just as a DAW in a computer.
The cherry on top is of course that you can fully control Hardware with midi inputs making it very attractive for anyone with Hardware.
Ahhh soon time to throw out the computer as this is the last puzzle piece missing when it comes to what you can do with Android... A lot of room for improvements for sure but all the basics are now covered.
