Kind of Bloop An 8-Bit Tribute to Miles Davis' Kind of Blue -Amazing work of chiptune NOW FOR FREE!9/1/2019 Released ten years ago and still as exciting now as it was then.
It is a chiptune recreation of the classic Miles Davis album Kind of Blue. If you have not gotten into Jazz it is a great album to listen to as it is a classic and it is easy going. (To be honest some of you will take Miles Davis for granted and some will have no idea who I am talking about... So it is hard to know how to express myself... Anyway he should be listened to just to have an idea and for common knowledge about music even if not liking the music...) What is amazing is that it is not versions of the songs but recreations, trying to get everything the same but Chiptune sounds galore. It is a sad story to it as well, as the creator got sued for the cover and had to settle out of court for recreating a pixel version of the original album cover... He finally settled out of court. There is links on the home/downloade page to read more about it... Linkety link: kindofbloop.com That is a serious bundle of free sound effects, free to use in any project!

Luckily took a look and discovered that it is not really about that, but how to use layering in Caustic to create new instruments as a full on sample instrument. Which of course opens up all kinds of sheenanigans when it comes to textures, experimentations or just to finetune a drum. If not knowing about this, pay attention. Specially as it is only Caustic that have this function of any apps on Android (and probably on iOS). The videos that this guy makes is never of music that interests me but he has done a real good job in making tutorials showing the basis of a lot of popular EDM and big props go out to Preddy!!! If not seen his tutorials before and are a fan of more popular dance music it is a good idea to go to his YouTube channel. Think all of the tutorials also comes with downloadable files to study closer... Me, focusing on never getting music finished in the endless pursuit of finding my own way, over thinking and twisting my mind into agony just to get a note down... Close my ears and eyes to such frivolities as tutorials that can speed up the process and a finished track. For years and years working on my own deep and dark requiem that can be played at my funeral with a magnificent gathering of three visitors that stumble in by accident, there they are standing in confusion listening to my Magnum Opus from a mobile phone that the caretaker holds up, but turns off after all three leave around twenty seconds in, as they are there to repair some stonework by the stairs. Yapps working against the popularity to die in obscurity is my goal! So it is not written in the stars that I Frank Malm will ever compose such a music going under the label Kawaii Future Bass...
