Guess this is good for any owner of this synthesizer app. To get the patch book go here: https://gumroad.com/l/mNNtk The musician Skarabee and longtime user of Caustic have released some free goodies to go with Caustic 3.2.
Here is what is in the first pack: 2 skins: Nautilus (3.1 revisited for 3.2) Paisley (a purple skin in memory of Prince) 20 sawsynth presets 8 stereo PCMsynth presets 3 stereo beatbox presets ( brushcat, fatdrums and stereopercz) To get this go to the Caustic forum here: http://www.singlecellsoftware.com/node/15536 He also have a website called aptly enough Caustic Resource. Here he have released more packs that take advantage of the latest Caustic, specially stereo samples in the sampler. So go here and you can find even more great things like Orchestral instruments, clusters, textures and beatbox presets. To go and check it these packs that are free as well go here: https://sites.google.com/site/thecausticsessions/causticpacks So anyone using SunVox should probably take a peep at this. A big packet of presets, some samples and other modules by SolarLune longtime user of SunVox and creator of some of the better tutorials for SunVox out there. They are pay what you want from zero to up. So check it out and if using them donate something... One of the new modules is a type of Beatslicer that he created a video for... To download and read some more: https://solarlune.itch.io/solarsynths So if you missed it there is a contest using just the FM synth module and Drum synth module in SunVox (although any effects are permitted). Was sceptic at first as I never use the FM synth as it is not really the sounds that get me excited.
Having said that after the contest was announced was trying a little bit but decided better to spend my time on my other music instead and going to bed started to spend some time mentally on it and have now gotten some very nice sounds! Actually am very happy for the contest as it made me see some possibilites and will use the Fm synth much more now. Will also be more open to FM synthesis in general and that is a good thing! In either case Mr Nightradio have made a compilation of Fm modules available for download that you can find in this forum thread here: http://www.warmplace.ru/forum/viewtopic.php?f=10&t=3578 So there is the possibilities to have your contribution included in the SunVox package and that is a honour that I would highly value and if that happens will use it to impress the ladies and get laid constantly! If you are interested in the SunVox file go here:http://www.warmplace.ru/forum/viewtopic.php?f=4&p=11093&sid=394748968edc7b9018cfd39d273eb470#p11093 Intermorphic release this Tikl pack to use for Mixtikl for free: ____________________________________________________________________________________________________ Morphing Drum + Bass ("MDB")
____________________________________________________________________________________________________
So to download this go to: http://www.intermorphic.com/tiklpak/download/ Have not tried to load DX7 presets into SynPrezFM but it is supposed to be an easy task:
_________________________________________________________________________________________________ SynprezFM 2 is also a Yamaha DX7 emulator, that can render with accuracy the sysex files you upload into an external storage directory setup by menu, in order to extend the experiment. _________________________________________________________________________________________________ Maybe it is a bit of an overkill to get even more ready made sounds as SynPrezFM comes with 1024 presets... but anyhow if that is not enough go here: http://bobbyblues.recup.ch/yamaha_dx7/dx7_patches.html Play Store link: SynPrezFM II EiPStudios made a demo pack of this some weeks ago and here is the full pack. Mentioned in the post about the demo pack that came with a video is that it can seem a little bit convoluted but think that you should at least download the free demo version and it will all become clear and then get the full pack as it can give you a lot of new ideas and sounds that could be hard to get on your own. Here is the video again. Here is two new packs of presets for the excellent synthesizer VA-Beast that is
included in G-Stomper Studio or for the standalone multitrack Synthesizer. One is made by the developer and costs about a cup of coffee and the other is presets made by users and is for free. So this is good news if you are confounded by the synth or just need some inspiration outside of your own tweaking. VA-Beast Essentials-2 VA-Beast UserCompilation-1 JBlann of EiP Studios have been hard at work for some time now to bring new ideas and ways of working with Caustic as Caustic 3.1 brought new possibilities to the table. You can actually do some very crazy things now that is not possible with any other apps. This first pack is for free and will give a good grounding to how you can take things to a new level or just take advantage of it without any head scratching. Yes the video shows you how some of it is done but depending on your level it can be slightly hard to follow so one idea is to download the pack and take another look at the video and look through the different presets. It is crazy what can be done now and it will be scary what you can do with Caustic the next updates coming! Play Store link:
Builderz Pro Demo JBlann of EIP Studios Ohio got some interesting ideas cooking for his next Builderz project. He wants to create real instruments sounding as realistic as possible using his production techniques. Think that this will be a good pack to have for anyone looking for more expressive real instruments. So before releasing his new Builderz pack there is a video to get an idea of what it all means soundwise. To read more about the builderz projects for Caustic go here: http://www.musicalandroid.com/1/post/2013/06/caustic-warrior-jblann-talks-about-caustic-and-builderz-packs.html Playstore links:
Caustic 3 Here is a Demo pack for Caustic 3 of his latest creations ( but physical modelling not yet... ): Caustic 3 Big Demo Pack 1 Now there is a new preset page on the Caustic homepage. Before it contained only presets for the Sound modules that existed in Caustic 2 but have been expanded to include all the
new-comers as well. It is not too much for the new modules but it will grow fast and for the ones that have been around since Caustic 2 there exists more than enough! Also recommend ( as I did many times before ) to be engaged in the Caustic forum as not only will you have great company but you can after getting to know some of the people and know what they can do ask for not only help in general but also if there is someone that can help you making or make presets that you want.... To be able to download or upload presets you will have to sign up to the forum. To look or download presets go here: http://www.singlecellsoftware.com/caustic/presets So here is a first preset pack for the fabulous VA-Beast Synthesizer put together by the creator himself.
40 Presets for the prize of a coffee. But remember to roll your own to! Especially as it is a lot of fun to do with this Synthesizer. ------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------ Hi Developers and Sound Designers! The public G-Stomper Content Pack API has been released. The API opens the creation of Add-On Packs to any developer for G-Stomper Beat Studio and G-Stomper VA-Beast Synthesizer (no deep programming skills required). So if you want to create your own Sample-Packs for G-Stomper Beat Studio, Preset Packs for the G-Stomper VA-Beast Synthesizer, or any other Add-On Packs around G-Stomper, check out the API at: https://github.com/planethcom/gstomper-content-pack ... and follow the Readme.md. If you have any questions or just need help to get into it, feel free to ask on the G-Stomper Beat Studio forum. ------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Will definitely take a closer look at this. G-Stomper Forum: http://www.planet-h.com/gstomperbb/index.php EIP Studios have created intricate and using his own calculated ready produced mix of samples did a lot of packs for Caustic 2 that will also work for Caustic 3. Which you can read more about here: http://www.musicalandroid.com/1/post/2013/06/caustic-warrior-jblann-talks-about-caustic-and-builderz-packs.html The ones he did before was based on samples for the PCM sample player. In these packs Caustic 3 essentials there is also a lot of presets for the other sound engines and then you have a drum focused pack. They are less than a coffee but not skimping on quality! There is a demo to download if you feel unsure with workable presets and here is some videos for you to get a taste and get a feel for what it is all about. |
