The final BETA before the official release?
Well at least it is closer than before and already there has been a lot of work done by Caustic users in form of presets and music.
Remember if you want to try it you have to sign up on the forum and if you want it with saving functions etc you have to have bought a unlock key which will work as a key for the official 3.0 version too.

Here is one of the new sample packs for being released with Caustic 3.0 made by Jblann this one being drums already mixed and ready to go and the idea is that you can try out different drum sets with just a click and every kit being mixed to work with every other kit making it easy to try different drum kits using the same beat, well you can see how that works in this video:

And now some music that has been made using fourteen sound generators the maximum allowed( Well you can always push it farther by resampling and taking advantage of the fairly advanced sampler in Caustic ).
First by the user that goes under the name Pan65 but he has always had a predisposition to only use the Subtractive synthesizer Subsynth and that is always interesting I think.
Here he goes into the new possibilities of the Subsynth as the new Caustic will not only come with new synths but also introduce funky fresh goodness regarding the older siblings.
So without further ado a track made with fourteen Subsynths:
Which is interesting as he does not really like Reggae... Guess is the environment of the Tropical Island he lives on that he can't escape!
In this track all the different Sound generators have been used except the Bassline synth.
Another interesting thing is that he mastered it first in Cubase and thought that it sounded larger and cleaner but more sterile and decided to just use Caustic for the mastered version you hear here as it sounded better to him in the end.
This coming from someone that is a professional musician that have been playing and producing music for a looooong time.
So for us that does not live in a warm tropical place year round we can see this Dub / Reggae track as a final goodbye to the summer:
