I like the meatiness of the presets @ 1:17 and 1:52.
I like the idea that it is a VSTi as well as an android app.

I wonder what android tablet he is using, almost no latency.

Hi,

This video shows DRC running on an iPad/iOS, but the latency is generally low for both iOS and Android platforms. Not all tablets are created equal of course...

Due to the huge variety of different hardware specs for Android tablets, the performance of any synthesizer on Android will vary for each device.

To emulate/model an analog sound with the sonic qualities of DRC, is very CPU intensive. DRC does have flexibility to help you get the best from it; you can change the polyphony/number of simultaneous 'voices' - just like you can with many high-end VST plugins.

To maximise compatibility/performance on as many Android devices as possible, there is also a setting to toggle 'High Quality Audio'. So if like 'Snap!' you've got 'The Power' - you can use this to turn up the DSP processing to 11!

Ultimately, the only way to know, is to give it a go! The convenient 7-day free trial, means you can download it from the Google Play Store and be testing it on your own device, within minutes.
