Remember learning the basic of drumming using drum notation and think that helped me so much with my musicality and am convinced that anyone making/composing music will have big push in the quality of their music learning some drums.
A lot of good music is just the rhythm that push it and melody harmony is not that important.
One very clear example is Bo Diddley and in more generic terms Reggae etc where the rhythm plays as much or more an important part of the music.
This app could be useful just for learning the basics just using feet, legs and arms/finger drumming and/or study for programming better rhythms.
It does not have to be this app of course even though this one looks real good and will probably get it one day soon...
