I noticed this synthesizer already four months ago and was surprised how interesting it was and being called EasySynth and having a generic icon it seems to be one of those synthesizers that there is far too many of and that offers nothing except some soundfonts.
But it is the only more complete synthesizer (with the exception of the Pad Synthesizer in Caustic 3) that uses Additive synthesis. Not only this but it comes with midi control so you can control most parameters on the Synthesizer from your midi controller. There are very few of those so far on Android... ExSynth, RD4 and Caustic 3.
Why it took me so long time to write about the application is because I wanted to do some music with it first but in the end there has been too much interference and so the best is for you to get the application that is fully functional with a lot of presets but without the possibility to save presets and to record...
The full version is one dollar and I was surprised talking to the developer that they hardly have sold any full versions and that people are pressuring for letting it go for free!
It is one of the more interesting and better synthesizers you can get for Android and it is a little bit shameful that people expect it to be for free...
I think that outside of SunVox, Caustic and G-Stomper Studio and Nanoloop that have excellent synthesizers built in already. That if you like synthesizers for Android this should be included as it has possibilities that are not available for any other Android synthesizers.
The other ones I would include would be- Heat Synthesizer, ExSynth, Mikrowave, Virtual ANS, Shape synth, Synchroid, Syntheogen, SynprezFM, EerieSynth and then there is the assortment of 303 style type of synthesizers... whooops the list turned out longer that was intended but anyway of all these EasySynth will bring something new to the table.
There is two things that nag me a little bit but do not these stop you from investigating this Synthesizer and they may be taken care of soon as there has been a flurry of good updates since this came out. One is that you have to be careful in which octave that you play in depending on the preset as it easily introduce artifacts into some of the sounds, this of course can be something that adds to the sound, myself do like some of the digital artifacts that gets introduced.
The other is that there is a sixteen step sequencer but unfortunately they have just implemented a slider and not a way to see or introduce an exact BPM. This of course makes it harder to use in conjunction with other recordings.
