Do not want they are thinking... They really are the ones that can compete with iOS and Garageband but throw it all in the river... why?
My own reflections are that they hired the wrong people for the project.
This based on the low energy of the representative I spoke to when Soundcamp got started.
No energy at all.
There was bugs and when asked about them he just admitted it, which is nice showing honesty but not saying for example, yes but they will be fixed soon and here is our plan for the future etc.
The only publicity made and developed the last years have been for the least interesting part of Sound camp, that god damn looper crap.
This whole thing is phucked as it is now wthout bugs and even if some 3rd party developers abandoned the project (probably because Samsung themselves did not show any interest) there is some real cool things in there.
I like that it is possible to get Sugarbytes Unique synthesizer and WOW filter for free, which are both excellent. Plus some other interesting paid synths.
There is also a lot of other effects etc that is possible to download for free...
It is a pity that Samsung did not use more of their resources to develop their own apps and functions to a bigger degree as it is not like they do not have the resources to push the envelope!
So the good news are that Google is finally developed a low latency solution (Oboe) and that
n-Track Studio that have enough resources and experience are getting Audioroute going with interconnection between apps.
Both of these open for the whole eco system of Android, with the exception of older devices (and probably very cheap devices).
So even if Samsung threw away their oppurtunity to lead in Android audio there is a very exciting new year for Android music makers!
