(Have not heard the album yet but am curious as a finger picking guitar player myself and will report on it soon).
Here is what he said:
Because you asked about Soundcamp, and I use it long on my Galaxy Note 4. I can tell you :
Latency is virtually nonexistent. That's great!
Soundcamp is , itself , a central application ( a simple DAW ) interconnecting other applications ( it is like an interface of Jack Audio for Linux + sequencer + mixer ) . It’s stable , simple and practical. Of course, it is an initial version and there are many things that can be added ,
but currently works OK .
Samsung brings you some applications for free ,
some are a little buggy ( some unexpected crash, basically)
There are other applications as ThumbJam , Amplitube , MorphWiz or Heat Synthesizer that work perfect with Soundcamp . They are a real blast !!
The new things that I'm doing, are with Soundcamp and these applications :
great sound and zero latency ... what more could you ask for??
All that Soundcamp really needs is more developers encouraged to make their apps compatible with Soundcamp; not just for zero latency, but for the possibility of interconnecting apps with it .
So that is great if you have the required device and it is hard to complain if the app is for free.
I could be pretty happy with something like this and just Heat Synthesizer myself... plus no latency audio recording.
Also spoke with the person representing Soundcamp for Samsung.
I will recommend him for not just trying to bypass the problems as some other big companies that I will not mention by name.
But being honest in saying that they had some complaints but also some praise.
His concern was that in general they had not had much feedback and that they would very much like to have some so if there is any problems or other issues write to:
and maybe things will straighten out faster for users of Soundcamp.
Finally here is a video made by Marcus Padrini that is writing about music apps in Brazil under the influential website http://musicapps.com.br/
