And every year or so they have a developer challenge, a contest where developers can participate with music software made for the challenge. This means of course that there is prizes, fame and glory.
This including Android applications as well.
So probably an Android application (or iOS) will not win but it can be nice to participate in either case and get your name on the map.

There is also something else that I want to bring up.
I noticed that there is very few Android developers signing up on KVR
(am not talking about the contest now) and this is a big mistake I think.
Maybe the best publicity you can get for your application is to have KVR publish when your new app is released or the updates and finally just participating in the Forum. The best is that it does not cost you anything, so you are doing yourself a disservice not engaging on the KVR website.
Ahh yes if you are registered to the website people can review your apps to...
So maybe if you know that you are behind a badly done application maybe you should stay away... ha ha.
