me and my four co-judges decided to give the first prize to Skarabee for the composition and production.
There will be an interview in a week or two but here is a short introduction that

Hmm wonder where he came up with the inspiration for this song ?

To get music software that he created and that is for free Go here-
It is maybe a little bit weird that not something electronic won but as the song is soo nice and the production is good what choice is there?
There was some other competing songs fighting for the honour and they can be listened to under the heading "Contest Music"-
Most of them made with Caustic, so whaassup!
I know for a fact that there is a lot of good music made with other applications-
Listen to it all the time on the respective soundcloud pages etc.
So for the next round of the competition please feed the Musical Android a more varied plate of application flavor!
Also the next round will allow all applications to be used-
last time there was a worry that some applications would lead to pre-packaged loop construction, and yes that will be frowned upon. But also realize that it is possible to do good music with more loop based apps as SPC Music Sketchpad and Re-Loop without using just pre-packed loops... soooo lets see what happens.
Monday is the next announcement with some small changes...
