If you like Synthesizers you are making yourself a disservice not getting this.
If you want to work with samples to it will be integrated with G-Stomper Beat studio but having the disadvantage that it would also drain more CPU that could be used for more synthesizer power.
Yes there is a demo so if your device are not of a later date it could be to limited.
But even if you can only use one instance I think it is worth it especially as there is a good sequencer built in and automation that can be both programmed and recorded directly.
There is one thing that was not totally obvious and that is how to get to the other patterns just go to to the pattern view choose how many bars you want and then in the VA-Beast Poly Grid to the left of the button Loop you have a red and a yellow light. So clicking the arrows bring you to the pattern / bar that you want to edit and long pressing takes you to the part where you want playback to start from.
Another slightly good thing that could be good to know is that in the Pattern Configuration window there is four buttons labeled S1 to S4 and they are influenced from the MPC hardware and makes the swing function work differently...
