First up it is not meant to sound like a guitar, it is more of a distinct string instrument and it has been made with expressibility in mind.
When I saw it, it seemed like something small and not very exciting,
and indeed it is small in features but the idea according to their presentation on Play store is that it is meant to also be used with effects-
I tried it now with some different guitar effects.
Found that it works but it doesn't give the same results as if you put a guitar through the same effects-
I think that the guitar reacts more to effects because it still have more harmonics than the Droiditar.
But It still can give you a very wide sound palette if you find the right effects and/or settings.
Even without effects and with limited features as the only features are to
resonate the strings a little bit more, timbre of tone and one fixed delay,
I like what it does and for sure it will show up in my recordings.
Among other things I think that it is a perfect app to use for drones, can't help but thinking David Bowie / Brian Eno and the album they made titled Low, just get the same feeling as the dark ambient pieces on that album...
